Famous architecture company Marc Fornes & Theverymany completed this contemporary residential architecture situated in the heart of Strasbourg Center in France last January 2015. The home stands out from their area featuring four bedrooms, three bathrooms, an office, garage and basement, in three floors that resemble strategically stacked container vans.
Each floor has its very own feature that does nothing but complement the other areas of the house. Green grass and other plants are situated at the highest portion of the penthouse, which is also the master’s bedroom; the eco-friendly roof provides fresh air and a dainty look to the modern family home. Opaque rectangular glass panels shelter the pathway of the wide and bright white stairs that gives a spacious feel to the home.
The middle floor is nestled by floor-to-ceiling windows that allow natural lighting to flow freely inside the home. The amount of light can be adjusted with the use of curtains that match the color palette of the house. This floor serves as the children’s area; it also houses the children’s playground.
The ground floor is designed to be the family’s common living space; from here, you can access the swimming pool, which gives a stunning accent to the home. More plants can be seen in this area of the house. The outdoor space which the children and visitors will surely love.
The underground garage was specifically designed only to height of the owner’s car. How cool is that?
